Artist Statement: Double Exposure
Initially, I tried to overlay a subject on a textured background. I used photos of rocks, trees, and other plants to make texture. Most of my photos were in black and white to express sadder emotions. I used photos from my reflection project that helped make the pieces more dreamlike. One of my photos has more than 2 exposures to make it abstract and increase texture.
