Draft 2

Draft 2

In this draft, I went for emotion of the subject. I chose to represent less humor and daily life. I instead tried to go for a more serious tone. Taking pictures outside makes the picture feel more natural. For my next draft,  I would like to take pictures of subject interacting with each other. My goal was to take Batin's style of toy photography, and add more emotion to it.

  1. Hey Brannan, these are really good photos you've taken this week. I think your photos demonstrate emotions just as you said in your artist statement. I also like your focus on your camera. The pictures look so real! I dont really have much to say about what you need to fix. Keep up the great work!

  2. I think this Draft works and is very strong! Much better than last week in terms of reaching your goals. You really captured the emotion of the figures in this draft and I like what you did with the editing. I also think the way the objects in the image are integrated with the figures works really well. Good job this week.

I also thought that the positioning of your characters allows the audience to visualize a story. Good job this week and keep up the greak work.

  7. Hi Brannan, nice job with your photos this week! I like how you not only changed the tone of the photos to be more serious but that you also used a variety of settings that contribute to that tone as well! I especially like how in the first one you set up the character over a gutter.
